Hi, I’m Linda.
I’m a registered and dedicated Clinical Psychologist here to create a safe and compassionate space for self-discovery, healing and growth.
Approach & Principles
Integrative Approach
I primarily work from a psychodynamic perspective which focuses on how our early experiences and unconscious mind significantly influence our present thoughts, feelings, behaviours and current challenges.
My training and experience with other modalities (narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, supportive therapy) also allows me to work using an integrative approach. This ensures therapy is tailored to your unique needs and goals, providing the most effective and compassionate care.
Guiding Principles
In my practice, I hold four core values: authenticity, safety, empathy, and growth. I strive to create a space of authenticity, where you can feel comfortable being yourself without judgment. Your sense of safety is a priority; therefore, I am dedicated to providing a confidential and supportive environment where you can explore difficult emotions and experiences. Empathy is at the heart of my approach, allowing me to connect with your unique perspective and understand your struggles. Finally, I am here to help foster your growth, and move towards a more fulfilling life.
“But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself - to let go of the limiting stories you've told yourself about who you are so that you aren't trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you've been telling yourself about your life.” - Lori Gottlieb
Services & Specialities
Individual Therapy (Ages 18+)
Individual therapy offers a safe and confidential space to explore a range of experiences, from everyday stressors to more persistent emotional and mental difficulties. I provide evidence-based treatment for a wide variety of mental health concerns and clinical disorders, including but not limited to mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, stress and grief, relationship and family difficulties, eating and body image concerns, and sexual dysfunction. This is a collaborative process where we work together to help you gain deeper self-awareness, develop effective coping skills, and move toward sustained personal growth and overall well-being.
Couples Therapy
Love brings people together, but a healthy and resilient partnership requires a secure emotional connection, the intention to understand your dynamics and the courage to navigate them with clarity. Couples therapy offers a dedicated space to navigate the complexities of partnership with professional guidance. I assist couples in identifying dysfunctional dynamics, resolving long-standing conflicts, and deepening their emotional bond. By gaining deep insight into these dynamics, you and your partner are empowered to make informed, intentional decisions about the future of your relationship.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
Whether exploring questions of self-discovery regarding gender and sexuality or addressing other life challenges, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy is grounded in understanding the specific social and systemic realities faced by LGBTQIA+ people. Recognising these realities, I am dedicated to providing supportive and affirming therapy as well as advocating for the well-being of LGBTQIA+ communities and queer folk.
Gender-Affirming Care Assessment & Support
Navigating a social or medical transition is a deeply personal journey, and I am here to provide an affirming space for exploration. I conduct gender-affirming psychological assessments and provide support for individuals seeking medical interventions, such as hormone therapy or gender-affirming surgeries. My goal is to provide the necessary clinical documentation and letters of support while prioritising your autonomy and well-being through every step of your transition.
Group Therapy
Group therapy creates a community for shared challenges and shared growth by addressing topics such as team cohesion, conflict resolution, school dynamics or academic support. These sessions provide a supportive space to develop effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Mental Health Talks & Workshops
Alongside my clinical practice, I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and promoting mental health awareness through public speaking. I offer tailored presentations, workshops, and talks on topics such as stress management, anxiety and depression, trauma-informed care, resilience building, and more. Whether for community groups, professional organisations, or educational institutions, I can create engaging and impactful content to suit your audience's needs. Please contact me to discuss your specific requirements.

In your first few sessions, we'll focus on getting to know each other. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, I'll explain how I work and we will discuss admin or other concerns you may have. It's a chance for you to share your story at your own pace, and for us to build a comfortable, trusting relationship.
-
Each therapy session is 50 minutes. The amount of sessions required will depend on your individual needs and the reasons you're seeking support. We'll work together to determine what approach and timeframe (brief or long-term) will be most effective for you, taking into account your specific circumstances and available resources.
-
Late Arrivals: If you expect to be late for your appointment, please inform me as soon as possible. Your appointment will be held, and you will have the remaining time of your session. Without notification, a 15-minute grace period will be observed. If you do not arrive within that time, the session will be marked as a missed appointment and charged accordingly.
Cancellation Policy: A full session fee will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. This policy is in place to allow for rescheduling and to ensure that the appointment time can be offered to another client. Missed sessions are also billed and are generally not reimbursed by medical aids. Please provide as much notice as possible for any unavoidable changes to your appointment.
